Requesting one sticky or at least one tolerated thread for local news links.
Every time a county paper posts 'cow rescued from pond' three members bring it here, then two people argue rescue vs occupancy, then someone says manatee, then I close the tab and consider outdoor hobbies.
Maybe local news links belong in one running thread unless there is actual case value. I am not trying to kill discussion. I am trying to stop the front page from becoming wet livestock RSS.
