Hydration and witness reliability during long observations

Field conditions belong in the file as context. Weather, fatigue, hydration, distance, glare, and yes, energy drinks, all affect observation quality.

That does not mean the witness is lying. It means the file should say what kind of day it was before people start treating every detail like it came off a lab instrument.

Hydration matters. So does being hungry, mad, sunburned, or trying to hold a phone while your cousin yells 'zoom in' like that helps.

Field conditions are not a character attack. They are the receipt paper of the observation. Crumpled, annoying, useful.
